Yes, it was my only code.

Something weird happened earlier tho. I went to pick up some takeout (bout a 10 minute drive) and on the way back, the CEL WENT AWAY! We'll see in the morning if it comes back on the way to school.

If it comes back tomorrow, Im giving up and callin up a shop and see if they can diagnose. All the vacuum lines are ran properly and everything.

yea if it was a vacuum leak your car wouldnt be in limp mode. as i had issues with vacuum lines on initial install. are you going into boost.. and did you not go into boost while picking up take out?? did you check the line to the timing box in the car?

I had the P0411 when i had my Vortech first installed.looked at that XViper thread and fixed it.it didn't cause a low RPM rev limit. It has to do with emissions,it shouldn't effect anything else.you Sir,have a different problem.best bet is to have it checked out....you don't want your engine to blow up.

peace

Man, weird. Yes, I am boosting....when the rev limiting doesnt kick in that is. I put in my Defi gauges and when it DOES run, it boosts a healthy 7 pounds, pulls nicely, works great....but when it kicks in,....it sucks. THanks for the help fellaz. Any other ideas?

Should I take it to the shop I planned to or should I take it to the dealership?? Thanks.

Well, there goes that idea.....I juss got done changing all the freakin vacuum lines and I took out the backup fuse and putit back in after a bit and took it for a drive. Needless to say, the CEL went away and I was happy as well.....with false hope of course. Mashed it a few times and it was great. Ran healthy and everything, then after about 10 minutes, the light came on again and hit the 3k ceiling again. I TOTALLY GIVE UP! Got an appointment on Wednesday.

Get the code that is now stored.

chances are you've got a CKP or TDC sensor code stored. Either you've got a intermittent connection to your timing controller or a bad controller.

One of the "black boxes" is a timing controller. The smaller one is a MAP voltage clamp.

Right, meaning, the big box could be bad? Intermittent connection meaning the wires AGAIN???
