I guess I am suprised that it takes longer for your car to warm up, it seems to make my car warm up faster? Anyone elses car take longer to warm up?

If your coolant starts off at a much colder temp, it takes BTUs to just get it back up to its resting temp when it's warmer outside. It takes time to produce those BTUs.
Also, when it's colder outside, fuel doesn't spray and atomize quite as efficiently, nor is it as efficient for air to mix with it. (I'm talking about a cold start here.)

in the morning I've had this hesitation, but what concerns me the most is when am stuck in traffic for a little bit, the car seems to hesitate and have the hiccups...
has anyone experienced this??? this happened before I got the SC and now it's a bit more pronounced..

Mine would do it whenever the ambient temps climbed and I was in stop and go traffic or coming to a stop light. I just let is nearly die. The ECU picks up on this and eventually learned to pick up the idle speed whenever the rpm got near idle. If it doesn't "learn" then you may need to check something out (MAP, IAC, etc.).
