Default comp clutch guys stage 3/4

Hey guys looking to up the power so need to upgrade the clutch. Looking to be in the 500-600whp range.

So who's running the stage 3 or 4 and what's your numbers? And how do you like the clutch?

I'm not looking for opinions on other clutch kits since I have a comp stage 2 installed now so I will just be swapping discs. I'm just not sure if a stage 3 will be strong enough or if I should just order the stage 4 disc.

I have no experience with those clutches, but I'm going to get the Stage 4 sprung 6-puck clutch. I know it'll take a little getting use to, but at least i know it should hold.

More of a on off feel? Like go or stall? Yeah the disc is only like 130 shipped. But I wasn't sure if the stage 3 could hold good and still be easy to drive

I have the comp stage 5 .. When you push in and out on the pedal it's soft but the engagement is crazy fast.. I don't know the max tq it can hold .. I think it could take a couple passes at the track with 700hp .. Mine has not sliped yet and I make 570 but they go by tq ..

I have the stage 4 thank to JJ Autowerks above^^^ along with the Comp 11.5 lbs flywheel. I'm less than 400 at the moment though but I am COMPLETELY happy with it. The pedal is actually lighter than stock and the engagement is amazing. Like the guy said above earlier, its a little harsh but not bad at all and after I hit the 500 mark, its almost forgettable. I daily it and have a friend with a "lightswitch" clutch in his S and its miserable and I was really worried about this one being the same. Its not at all. You will not be disappointed.

I have the stage 4, 6 puck, sprung, with the ultra light flywheel. I was really surprised at the pedal feel...I was expecting a little more effort needed, but it is maybe the same as stock, possibly a bit lighter. As passman said, it is wicked switchy for the first 500 miles or so...I actually hated it and was going to change it up...but now it is not nearly as bad. The first 500 miles is a bit embarrassing, or it was for me...everyone thought I was learning how to drive a standard...lol

I have had plenty of puck style singe disc clutches in my time and they all have been missarable to drive daily in stop and go traffic. I don't see how this would be different. If you daily your car the only clutch anyone should consider is the act hdss and if that won't hold the power there is no other choice other than a twin disc.
