Thumbs up compatibility with comptech supercharger

I want to know if I can put a comptech supercharger that comes from a 2.2 engine (2004 +) for my 2003 s2k with the 2.0 engine. Someone have any experience of it? ANd by the way, if I pay 5000$ Canadian dollar for it (used) with all the stuff plus the aftercooler, is that a good price?

Yes you can. The only major difference is that the 04-up pulley is smaller so you will have your 6psi (or whatever it's supposed to be) at 8000 and will have a bit more at 9000. This is the sort of upgrade most Comptech owners do eventually anyway.

And regardless, you want to get a simple tune done to make sure you're not running lean. 10 minutes on the dyno and a twist of the FPR screw and you're done. Just drive to the dyno without thrashing it.

Just what Aus said. Also, just FYI, you'll need to drill and tap a small hole for the FPR bracket on an AP1 as the mounting is slightly different. No big deal at all.

As Aus said, it's the equivalent of upgrading to a 7psi pulley on the standard kit. Also I think the horn position's changed, so you might have to relocate it - no biggie. $5000 Canadian sounds like a fair price considering they're upwards of $5000 US new. good luck

Just be sure that everything is included with a used kit.

So you guys are telling me that it is preferable to get the supercharger for the 2.2 engine to put on the 2.0 engine and it is like an upgrade because the pulley is smaller and I can get more psi? Right? BTW what is FYI ? AP1? FPR bracket? Sorry it's my first experience about supercharger.
Thank a lot
