Default Compression / Boost question

Is there a rule of thumb for how much boost must increase to compensate for lowering compression to maintain the same hp output?

Not sure at all about this...nor is it meant to be accurate... but isn't it something like 2 psi per point of compression lowered?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Hmmm... I'm thinking more about 1 psi...or .8 psi to be exact. Might be wrong too. That's what I heard and witnessed to a degree.

I think efficiency of the engine plays a lot in this equation; but for the F20c, 1-1.5 psi increase in boost for every point in compression dropped is pretty close.
