Comptech AFR's
Ok so i installed a AEM wideband guage to see if the dyno results were wrong from
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...f=142&t=425952
That dyno sheet was 3 full turns on the fpr. so make it "safe" but i was having drivability issues.
So i turned the fpr back to the initial setting + 1/2 turn.
And now my AFR's are around 12.5 at WOT until Vtec. where it leans out A LOT.
goes to about 13.5 +......... and makybe comes down to 13.3 at redline.
Been at this setting for about a month without any problems...... But I thought it was supposed to be at 12.5 under vtec....
Any suggestions?

It's common for our cars to lean out during the vtec transition...however, I don't think richening your fuel mixture a bit could hurt by turning up the FPR.
A range of 11.x to 12.x is definitely safer than 12.x to 13.x

Yea.... we tried that on teh dyno.... Below vtec was reaching 10.5ish and drivability during the day was bogging and such....
I'm jus tworried that i won't be able to get it rich enough when i get my 7psi pulley.....

I know it's the best option. I'm just wondering if there's something wrong with my car.
a local guy here has a comptech with 7psi pulley. and he's around 12.5 all teh way acrross. I've seen other dyno plots with similar results....
They all had stock exhaust though.... I have t1r dual sparrow and t1r test pipe.....

Thats your lean running problem.

The Comptech FPR/ESM is not flexible enough to cope with anything other than stock engine set up.
If you not stock you need to start thinking about standalone ECU's or at least a VAFC.
