Well, finally got the Comptech SC in the car and its running fine. It's gotta be the wildest sounding thing I've heard in awhile. There is no mistaking its under there when you hit the gas

And yes, the fuel pump is kinda loud... but not that loud

Nope, didn't do the install myself. I live in a condo and we get fined if we work on our cars there. None of my friends are "car guys" so they aren't any help, not to mention they don't have garages either .

Also my fuel pump quieted down to were I can't hear it. The SC is a bit loud, but its start to quiet down a bit. The installer replaced several of the clamps, he didn't like the ones that came with the kit a used heavier duty ones. I'm thinking that's why my fuel pump is quiet. One or two others reported that using better clamps helped out the fuel pump noise.

I've come up with a name for the Comptech SC sound though...

ANGRY Crickets! If someone else is using that term already for the SC... Too bad its mine now
