Default Comptech s/c heater core issue

The heater core for my Comptech s/c has started to leak, and I'm trying to replace it. CT gave me a part number specific to 1800Radiators, 8214PL, which 1800Radiators says fits "various GM vehicles 1985-2001," but they no longer carry it. That part number does not translate to any other vendors, so I'm having a hard time isolating which heater core it is to order another one.

Has anyone replaced theirs and know what to get and where to get it? Help! The weather is beautiful and my car is parked until I can fix this!

Thanks, but I really want to replace this apple to apple. Until this one sprung a leak, it worked perfectly, and I don't have the expertise to start jacking with things.

Ask them what specific vehicles it went in and start looking for an aftermarket one.

I already did that. 1800Radiators didn't know, and their stock number applies to only to their company stock. I'm at a point now where I think my only option might be to take it off the car, take it to a Chevy dealer, and ask them what the hell it is!

I am using one from a 1998ish Chevrolet 6.5 diesel. The inlet/outlet tubes are a little long, but cut them down and it will work great! Cost me about $30.00.
