Comptech S/c running a Vortech Aftercooler kit
After a bit of help here guys.
I'm going to be installing the Comptech S/c kit next weekend.
For the past 5? months I've been in search of a Comptech Aftercooler Kit for it, but they are just impossible to find, unless you spend $1100+ post for a new one from CT Engineering.
So, I know a guy on these forums with a Vortech Aftercooler kit he's willing to part with.
Is there any forseeable issues I may encounter if I was to use the Vortech Aftercooler kit, instead of the Comptech Aftercooler kit on a Comptech S/c?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated from anyone who has done this, or knows if it will or will not work.

the placement of the water lines are different...no biggie there and im pretty sure that the outlet of the 2 are different sizes..The mounting plates for the 2 chargers are different as well dunno if the shape of the coolers will be affected by this though...

the aftercooler is really its own unit that just cycles coolant through it to cool the intake air. it seems like at the most, you would just have to clock your blower housing and/or attach a coupler to mate to the vortech aftercooler inlet, if you even need to do that.

I saw a picture on Honda-Tech.com of some guy who only had the CT Aftercooler, and something like a short-ram intake in front of it. He said it ran well, and claimed 12 whp gains.

Judging by the images is all I have to go off.
The mounting of the VTAC shouldn't matter, so long as the cooler piping between the CTSC and VTAC is matched up correctly, right?
In theory the mounting of the CTSC could also be clocked to align similiarily to that of the VTSC, right?
One could fabricate a custom piece of cooler piping to go between the CTSC and the VTAC easily enough IMO.
