Default Comptech S/C versus Lovefab Turbo

Before anyone gets their panties in a bind, ALL of these numbers are directly from each manufacturers website.

The Comptech S/C results are assuming stock pulley size.
The Lovefab turbo results are assuming the base kit (not the GT1).

Please correct me if I am wrong but I think this equates to 6 psi and 8 psi, respectively. Anyways, even if either or both results plots are off by as much as 20% (different dynos, different cars, etc.), this gives an idea of the "effect" on the stock car's performance. You will notice the numbers posted are not that far off from what many members have stated in their signatures.

Enjoy!

Thank you for the nice, clean graphs, Slim. Since it seems you have the technical ability (and maybe the time?), do you think you could do such a comparison for more FI companies/products (Vortech, UR, etc.)? Perhaps you could put several of them on one graph (or as many as possible without it looking too chaotic); I would do it if I had the skill. If you indeed decide to do so, it may save you time to leave out the "increase" graphs, as these can be easily inferred from looking at the heads up comparison graph.

Oh, and in my experience the Comptech stock peaked at 5.4psi and the LoveFab has a 6psi spring but gets up to 7.2psi

I'll see what I can do.

Personally, I think the increase graphs are the most important. You can trace along the x-axis and imagine how the stock car feels. Then you can look upwards and see how much additional umph you can expect from each setup.

Also, the increase graphs are a very powerful way to judge performance/dollar ratios. That the area under the curve (integrate) and divide by the amount of money that you spent on the system. I'll post that in a bit. I would imagine the turbo wins hands down. (Even though peak power is "relatively" similar)

Actually the LoveFab spring is a .4 Bar, which is 5.8 Psi.
