Comptech S/C versus Lovefab Turbo
You're right. Sorry to have jumped on your thread. I guess I just don't see the point of it. But just to add something to consider. You numbers on your graphs are wrong. The lovefab dyno plot that you took the numbers from involve a 3 inch straight though exhaust. The Comptech is a stock exhaust. Put the same exhasut on the lovefab and you'll lose around 15hp. And with that, I'll leave you thread alone

There's no doubt that the SC has it's place and is a snap to install. Love it!
And whereas the LoveFab kit is pretty complete Tinker does kind of insist on a 3" exhaust and is even supplying one now. Even with all parts supplied it's still not as plug and play as the Comptech (although I saw Tinker has gone to a drill and tap oil return like Vortech so it's closer).
What Slimjim's graphs do is answer that classic FI newby question: "If the peak hp is almost the same why would I go the extra expense/effort of the LoveFab?". The answer is the FAT in the graphs.
Ya got one?
Actually I almost did. I was running 8psi, AEM, 550cc injectors, HKS header, 70mm Kakimoto exhaust. No test pipe, but then my LoveFab is running a cat.
I made 214rwkw. With the LoveFab (7.2psi BTW) I'm making 217rwkw. A small enough difference to be insignificant.
But the driving feel and performance is totally different. And the way to quantify that is to look at the meat in the graphs.
