Default comptech SC Diverter Valve

There is a valve on this that goes from the charge pipe to the intake. It acts like a BOV for SC cars I would think. I need to know what end goes into the intake and what end goes facing the charge pipe. It is the type of valve that comes in VW/AUDI for there BOV on the stock turbo setup. When this was install by inline pro they hooked it up like a BOV so that it dumped into the engine bay insted of back into the intake. Not sure if they know something about this working better or not but I haven't seen one setup like this yet. Any help would be great.

Here is a pic of what is should look like so people know what I am talking about. It's the valve in the intake that hooks to the charge pipe. If that's even what you would call it. I am a turbo guy so this is kinda alittle dif. for me.

there is an easy way tell me this. Either the vacume hose to the valve goes facing down or it goes facing the left side of the car (looking at it from the front) it can only go one of there ways

NO BODY???? Come on I now that there must be like 100 of these kits on this forum. All you have to do is go look at the valve coming out under the intake tube. I just need to know what way the vacume line in going, facing down or facing the left side of the car ( looking at it from the front). This is an easy one. Any help

sorry, I would have responded earlier if I saw this. I have a 1.8T Audi and I run the bosch diverter valve. I also run it boost to the side. People seem to have more problems with those running boost to the bottom. I run 22 psi on mine and I've had it for years with no problems. If you end up at some point having to replace it, go with the stronger one from the TT which ends in part # 710N. The 710A is the one more common on A4's and S4's. They have a softer spring.

thanks for the responses guys. I looked high and low for this and not one answer. I found the answer on google and that pic. I think if it ever did go bad from what I have been reading it is a good idea to go with a forged one that they sell. No biggy cause I ordered a front mount for this kit and it comes with a BOV insted of this diverter valve.
