Default Comptech SC on steroids: 370.8 whp, 237.6 wtq

We recently had the privilege to complete a project for a customer from Louisiana. This 2005 S2000 was dropped off Monday morning and drove off Wednesday afternoon with a 70 wheel horsepower jump!

The supercharger system, then cylinder head was removed. The head and block surfaces were prepped and then a .074" crushed thickness Cometic head gasket was installed. A Hondata gasket was finally installed when the intake manifold was replaced. The standard 4.2" drive pulley was removed and replaced with the new 3.2" pulley offered by ScienceofSpeed. The car was then heat cycled and tuned.

The following parts were installed:

- Cometic head gasket
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng...ic/head_gasket/
- ScienceofSpeed 3.2" drive pulley for Comptech Novi 1000 Superchargers
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng...000_SC_pulleys/
- Hondata Intake Manifold Isolator
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng...fold_insulator/
- AEM EMS
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng...0/AEM/EMS_UEGO/
- RC 650cc injectors
http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/eng...RC_Engineering/

This S2000 produced 370.8 wheel hp and 237 lb/ft wheel torque at only 10.5 lbs of manifold pressure. The thicker head gasket results in a CR of 9.8:1 and required the use of the smaller 3.2" pulley. Despite the lowered compression ratio, the car has excellent tip in throttle response. Despite the smaller pulley, the intake temps were very reasonable with average temps approximately 40 deg F over ambient with maximum heat soaked temps not exceeding 55 deg F over ambient.

Our new pulleys (recently released in the vendor's forum at a group buy price) are manufactured with a design based on years of experience with this and other supercharger kits. The pulleys feature a high stick anodized finish that increases traction on the belt with the smaller surface areas of the smaller "high boost" pulleys.

Thanks again for the opportunity Tom, we appreciate your business.

Cheers,
-- Chris

Nice...I have a 3.25 pulley on my car on stock CR and its a AP1.
I get around 13-13.5 psi from it.Not tuned Yet but AF are Ok and i will have to Get a hold of Mase to tune it out on the dyno via the Internet..
But i Am hoping to join the 400hp club.
Nice work..What kind of other Accessories have you installed on the car for better Breathing?
Cheers

Very nice and Linear;However,MY04 Comptech SC with all stock engine and 9lbs of boost got a similar results(360whp and233tq.)

Sorry,If I'm HighJack your thread.

My question to all Senior members and Experts.
Would it be SAFER AND RELIABLE running 9lbs of boost with all stock internal or 13lbs of boost with thick head gaskets.
