Your going to get less mpg because there is parasitic loss happening with running another accessory off the engine aka the blower and the rest will come from how you drive the car. A blower is the least efficient to operate, and a turbo is the best. Expect 2-3mpg loss and will go up from there depending on how you drive. But it wont be as bad as other high boost set ups with bigger injectors.

Sound like the guy your working with produces the FVM/Black box for Comptech and SOS? If so, he likely has a hack to get into it and change the injector duty amount and alter vtec engagement, which is great and necessary for you if going smaller pulley then I suggested. I actually would be interested in speaking to him directly to possibly acquire one of these boxes for my NA set up, if you don't mind filling me in/passing along his contact info?

Okay that not to bad he will be cleaning up the A/F and also being able to pull timing and see if there is any knock and stuff like that (not to savy of that stuff).

Yes he is able to actually mess around with Vtec engagement and injector duty. His name is Shad at Driving Ambition in Rancho Cordova. (916) 692-2151

Issues I had in the beginning was the bolt snapped from the pulley and the belt snapped.. got those replaced and it has been holding up ever since.. I'll be happy to give you a ride..

I have a related question: I have an 06. If I decide to fiddle with the stock CT kit (smaller pulley, larger injectors, different fuel pump, etc.), is it harder to pass SMOG? Basically, assuming that emissions are ok, would it be more difficult to pass the visual inspection? Guess it all depends on the SMOG technician?

I seriously doubt the smog tech will take out a ruler and measure your pulley.

Yeah, I agree it's really unlikely the tech will scrutinize each part, but it's not completely impossible (heard many SMOG horror stories where a part is completely CARB legal, but the tech/shop was still apprehensive about passing the vehicle). Just want to hear your SMOG experiences.
