Default comptech supercharger clutch kit

My clutch went out after the supercharger installation.......

What kind of clutch do you guys recommend for this set up ? I have the stock pulley with the kit, but i may upgrade the pulley in a year or so.

IMHO the ACT pressure plate matched to a factory or ACT disk combined with a light weight flywheel is the way to go.
That combination will hold 370+ ft lbs torque and be easy to drive. No pucks for me thank you.

The disk and pressure plate are expendible wear items and need to be replaced.
Performance clutches will require more service and attention to maintenance than factory clutch but that is the price of playing with high output engines.
I have been getting 15,000 to 18,000 miles on factory disks and and change the pressure plate every second disk.
The clutch is mated up to a stainless steel 8 lb flywheel with eleven years on it.

I'm sure some of the others owners will have recommendations and hopefully give some idea how long these items last in their experience.

Stock fly wheel. I don't recall where I ordered it but just Google it and find the best price. I have been happy with it.

The OP will never see that much power with his kit so I was comfortable recommending the SOS sport clutch. 15-18k miles is ridiculous to me, I put that on in one year with this car and would not be happy doing a clutch once a year. If that’s the compromise for more trq holding capacity, then this would be a case where overdoing the clutch capacity beyond what’s needed isnt a wise choice. I do agree with you on the puck clutches, I believe those would have an even shorter life span as well as lack of enjoyment operating one. I definitely agree with the light weight flywheel option, not just for my preference on driving character, but also increasing the clutch longevity by removing rotating mass and therefore clamping duty needed.

I have the SOS sport clutch and 11lb SOS flywheel. It holds the power and has a nice pedal feel. Clutch had some chatter after initial install but now it's great.
