There are many sc s2000's on their original clutch ... I am one with 42,000 miles, 24,000 while supercharged.

I have a similar situation. These rash statements like "Get a new clutch! It won't last long with a supercharger!" are not necessarily true. It all depends on how you drive the car. I've done launches, rolling clutch drops and high rpm hard shifts and my clutch has been fine for over 15,000 miles under blown conditions. Early clutch death under F.I. conditions is not always an indication of a bad clutch. It might just be an indication of how the driver operates his car.

Get a good mechanic. I talked to 4 different one's that all said they have done SC before. I checked around and found out not all had good references. Don't forget the $400 core charge. I just added SC w/ AC to my MY05 and I love it. Good luck!!!

Just make sure you get it to a dyno and make a couple of passes with a wideband af monitor.Dont trust the setup out of the box!!!!It may run very lean!!!!Good luck and enjoy the boost!!!!
