Hi just curious I just got my supercharger installed and my car started dying. as in I lost all electrical power. so i bought a new battery but i am just curious do i need a bigger battery for this? does the supercharger drain battery life? please let me know. thank you

i dont see why it would drain battery life? the only thing electrical that has to be done is just the ESM unit and the airpump if you have an aftercooler unit.. you are saying its all electrical power, so i assume you did the fuel pump correctly and its not just the engine cutting out.. check and see if the ESM was wired in correctly and your ECU wires aren't all chopped up and messy.

 

well it was installed by acura so should be good lol. it was weird i was driving back on the freeway and i started losing power to my cd player then i lost my power to the gauge cluster and then my v-afc went out and i pulled over and my car battery was dead. thats why i was thinking it is a battery issue.

 

sounds like your alternator has gone out and you were just running on battery when things started shutting off. Go get a charge system check.
