comptech supercharger question

Default comptech supercharger question

ive searched everywhere... i just recently put on the supercharger with the 5lb pully i belive...
ive checked belt tension and everything seems to be good to go ...the only thing is the supercharger pulley is squeeling... and its really getting on my nerves.... anyone have a fix for this?

^^^^I got the same problem before,The belt is loose. tighten the belt .
I end up running .5 smaller belt.It's repquire alittle magic.

i'll give it a shot... i thought the belt was tight enough... i didn't want to over tighten it because of the bearings and all in the sc... also if i spray it with a little bit of belt dressing... it goes away temporarily

did you use ranch or cesar on that dressing?

That's what I did,but with the WD-40. Just tight the Shizt of the belt,You wont break anythings with your hands and 14 mm wrench.
I'm running 3.2 pulley and end up using .6" available smaller size belt .
Due to the belt Adjustment already on the max available groove. I turned the engine over by hand for the belt fit into the pulley.
Now,I can see the boost all the way to almost 12psi.

maybe your tensioner pulley is loose also check that.
