I am looking to SC an Ap1 S2k, I would like some info. First off I think the Comptech stuff is great, but they are now out of business and I don't know how I could get parts if needed. I can get a good deal on a used comptech however, and some threads are stating "Most" SC's never have problems?? I did read about a guy with bad bearings, but thats 1 person. The Vortechs seems harder to come by used, but I understand they make more power and I could get parts. I was thinking of waiting for the release of the Jackson Rotrex, but I heard they blew up some of their SC's doing some testing? Too bad Jackson is using centrifugal over the sebring roots type the civics get : Whats reliabilty like with the SC's , etc? Thanks!
