Default Comptech / Vortech / LoveFab / ?

Hello all,

after reading quite some topics on superchargers, my question is mainly 'which charger to take and for what reason'!? Are there quite some differences in power, torque, reliability, installation, other issues? Just thinking of a SC on a stock engine. Which to take and what other options are needed (Aftercooler, VAFC, ...)

Thx for any replies,
Frank.

whichever charger you decide on will be good both the comptech and vortech are very good units...and if you don't plan on upgrading the boost you DO NOT need anything else..it's just a bolt and go.well....one thing you might want to consider is a new clutch.

peace

I have a comptech, not extra management required, plug and play install.
Boost is relative to RPMS.

I had a turbo but took it off because it would have costed me 1500 to have the aem tuned.
Full boost is relative to turbo size but is way lower in the rpms.

If you are looking for everyday drive ability with power needed here and there, Id get the comptech. If you want full power all the time get a turbo kit.

What about the LoveFab? Why is it quite rare?

Yup thats a little high for tuning.
But then again i have no clue whats the cost of living down there maybe higher other stuff involved with the tune etc etc...

Dont quote me on this but i think Lovfab makes more whp then any other kit out there, pound for pound.
But we all know about there crack manifolds blah blah blah, I Would still buy it.

i will agree with that, i do think pound for pound the lovefab kit makes more whp than any other kit out there, but is it really worth all the hassle and worries? I myself run the inline kit and not only is their kit pure quality but their customer service is by far the greatest.
