Tim,

In your opinion, is it relatively safe to buy a used supercharger? Will comptech waranty a used one/will the waranty carry over?

(PS, I was the guy who asked you about your exhaust at fusion last week)

If your the type that wants warrantees and your the type that actually use it....then buy a new kit.

Used kits are fine as long as ALL the parts are there. It's when you have to start doing a treasure hunt to find missing bolts washers hoses etc that can make it a PITA. Comptech has the inventory sheet and so do I. If you find a used kit, just check it with the parts list. With your setup I would recommend that you only get a used kit that was made for the AP2.

I would NOT recommend that you get an AP1 kit and install it on your F22C.

If you stick with a used AP2 kit from Comptech then you are guaranteed the right CARB EO#, the improved intake elbow, AC arm for STB's and bushing on the blower bracket.

Let me know when your ready....

I just have to figure out the following: Spend the money... invest the money. A supercharger sure would be fun, and your sounds so badass
