Fuel pump on the s2k is definitely a bitch. If you do it first, it makes putting the rest of a kit on seem much easier

So far I have 15-20ish hours into the install over a span of 1.5 months. That includes differential replacement, removing headers and exhaust, mount new exhaust, turbo, manifold, inter-cooler pipings and routing all oil lines, cooling lines, and vacuum lines. Also spent some time removing the oil pan and installing upgraded oil banjo bolts.

So far I neeed to:
tap the ruel rail for a fuel gauge
install new injectors
hook up a wideband and mac solenoid wires to a 12v ign source
install ecu and correct pins
mount wideband gauge and Aem serial guage.
change transmission fluids
Run a relay to the fuel pump.
hook up the laptop, flash a baseline tune.
drive to the tuner.

I try not to make the installation stressful. I work on it whenever I have time and take my sweet time. The Ptuning kit is a great kit. All packages were nicely organized and packed. No major fabrication was needed with the kit. Everything goes together nicely.

A few things you *need* to do:

- Call InlinePro and ask whether you're going to have clearance issues using your turbo with the manifold. I have a 58/62 and the turbo hit chassis, I used a pretty big hammer to *make* it fit :-/

- Install the sandwich plate on the block first then the turbo kit and customize the oil lines afterward.

- I'd suggest keeping the battery in the stock location but you'll have to bend the a/c lines with a small pipe bender (local auto part store carries it for $10) and definitely make a heat-shield

- If you decide to relocate the battery; use the thickest guage wire for the positive and run a separate wire from the battery directly to the starter to prevent a "slow cranking" issue which will become a major issue if you have an AEM (due to the ecu having to "sync")

Random question but how much power Do those Inline stage one turbo kits give you?
I know it all depends on tuning too, but whats an average gain in horsepower and torque?
Im thinking of going boost and have heard good things about the Inline kits.

i did all mine in my garage, i have a big a** tool set though and everything you need. It took me 18 hours total to install everything and the hardest things i had to do was installing my fuel pump and finding a place to put my canton oil filter relocation and i just made a bracket for that near the radiator side support.

Check my Inline Pro build thread and you will get an idea what it takes to do it right. It is a very diffcult job if you don't have a welder and fabrication tools.
