Could we build a owner database here?

Default Could we build a owner database here?

I've been doing a lot of research about going FI and all the info seems to be scattered. Maybe we can start a thread where everyone gets one post in the thread to describe their setup.

The post should include as much information about your car as possible/pertinent. It should include pictures and dyno charts. It should include a parts list, or just a list of upgrades if you have a standard "kit", who tuned it, problems you ran into, things you would do different next time, what you plan to upgrade in the future, horsepower & torque, supporting mods, what you broke along the way, etc...

I would start it, and try and get the format standard, but I'm still NA

I think a database like this would clear up a lot of the newb questions that are posted daily. It would make researching which path you wanted to take a ton easier. People could go back and edit the posts when things change. No other posts should be allowed in the thread, questions should be asked via PM and the original poster could update his post if the information requested belonged in the post.

I am willing to help out in any way I can.

What do you guys think?

^ but its getting outdated. I think we should have a standard format aswell. We could then edit our posts as we change things or break things.

^^ That looks ok but doesn't contain enough information. Trials and tribulations along with upgrades and extra expenditures and broken parts should be in there.

The Dyno and Mod thread does this. It's even in the FAQ

You can edit you own posts to update them.

^ It would be nice if someone cleaned that thread up of the useless questions and comments so that it is easier to navigate. Just a thought and a comment to the powers at be.

It would be nice If I didn't have to edit out off topic posts. If I start doing that there won't be much left in the FI forum...

Just sayin'
