Why is my aftercooler so close to hitting the air conditioning fan shroud??

I have spent countless hours searching and can't find any pics of a 06+ with a CTSC installed, every AP1 I have saved to my phone shows plenty of clearance.

I have tried rotating the housing slightly, and still doesn't make a difference. What am I overlooking? Is the DBW throttle body slightly longer than the cable version???

So what if its 'Close?' Is it actually hitting? If not then let it roll.

 

maybe the 06 fan shroud is different from ap1

 

Just checked and part # is the same for MY00 and MY07

It's not hitting, it just looks a lot closer than everyone else's. Maybe I'm just being too anal about the install since I like perfection.

After looking at pics again compared to mine, I believe they are slightly different. See my pic below and then compared to an AP1 below that.
