Default CTSC aftercooler pump

I seem to have figured out why the lowish number on my CT S/c car.

Theres no circulation going on in the aftercooler, the water is lying dormant.

Now, the water pump turns on, you can hear it, it makes a distinct humming sound, howver no water circulation.

I have undo hoses etc and turned the ignition on, and still no water coming out of the hoses into a bucket... so something up.

I'm about to get a new relay, just in case, though it shouldnt be that because its obviously getting power.

So it must be the wiring somehow.....
Or a faulty pump....

Your thoughts?

Ok another update now.

Re-disconnected the hoses from the pump, and turned the cars ignition on.

Again power to the pump - sucking in air etc.

So I put my hand up to the outlet, and there is dick all pressure coming out. its like blowing in someones ear to annoy them kind of pressure.

So then i put my finger in the inlet.... didn't suck it in or anything, it was as though there was no pressure at all.

If its not faulty wiring, I'm gonna have to order a new pump out the States......

NOT a happy boy.

Just wire 12V straight to the pump and you'll know if it's working or not.

^^lol once i saw that you posted in the thread i knew that's what you'd say.

right now i'm at low boost (7psi pulley) so FMIC would be more of a hindrance (boost loss) than an asset to performance. i want to upgrade once i up it to 10psi though...
