Default CTSC cant figure out where this goes..

so on my chargepipe, 1 hole which i presume was the original spot for this hose is welded off. the second hole is used for ap2 sensors, but since im ap1 i dont need it.

where does the hose in the green go? would it make sense to located it to the bottom of the elbow since there are two holes there?

Kaan had it installed but cant see where he located the hose that i marked green in the first picture

and my charge pipe

its your air injection system feeds air on cold start looks like the fitting is broke off the charge pipe not necessary but you will need to plug that hole or get a new fitting

Interesting, would it work to hook it up to the bottom part of the elbow?

Instead of using the hose to the AC, I'd just connect to it the air injection hose?

That hose normally connects to the aftercooler (as shown in the pic above) or charge pipe via a stub. Your stub was removed (possible that the kit was from a newer S or previous owner did an air pump delete). You can either weld in a new stub on your charge pipe and connect the hose, or remove the hose completely and plug where the other end of the hose connects.

Or if the hose fits on the other two stubs on the bottom of your charge pipe, then yes you can connect it there and be done with it. Doesn't matter where the stub is on the charge pipe.

thanks coolguy,

yea the problem was that i didnt have any stubs on the charge pipe, so i had a hose just hanging around. so i guess ill either plug or just weld a stub on it.

so the hose that would normally connect to the aftercooler wouldnt work with this hose

...they are one and the same. The hose that you circled in your picture is the hose that I have connected to my aftercooler, and is shown connected to the aftercooler in the picture above.

Or perhaps I don't understand your question. Sorry, its been a long day.

I just leave my air injection hose off and put a filter on it.
