Do you have a guage to verify, the Walbro can put out much more fuel than you require.

he did not used the gauge. could it be a faulty fuel pump? i am planning to either buy a new FPR or fuel pump.

My guess would be the FPR. i read a post on here of a couple guys having issues with the stock fpr and a Walboro pump. Although lots of people on here are using the stock fpr with out any issues. Including myself.

look into the voltage dropping. at higher RPMs the fuel pump voltage drops a volt or two, which makes the pump not flow as much fuel. This can be fixed by hard wiring the fuel pump. Check te basics first though, make sure everything is hooked up right and maybe your OEM FPR is going back, but I doubt it.
