Default CTSC Stock Boost Levels

Has anyone run a CTSC at stock boost levels on a stock clutch with any success? This is of course under the assumption no drag launches and hard 1st to 2nd redline shifts will be done, just normal driving and rolling on the throttle to redline in a few gears etc.

Good to hear. What mileage when the FI was put on? I already have about 130K on the stock clutch but it doesn't seem to slip at all currently. Trying to weigh the pros/cons of putting in an aftermarket before I proceed.

Does anyone know if it's harder to put in a clutch with a CTSC installed vs not?

Im pretty sure the s/c has to come out to install the cltuch, but I dont think its a big deal. I too am running ctsc with stock clutch but only stock boost on 45k on the clutch.

my stock clutch wouldnt hold a quick NA shift. and that was 150wtq. it had 29k on it. ehh, i would swap the clutch. its just more work if you do it later. do it now and dont worry about it for 50-100k miles. i went CM stage 3. its a disc clutch and holds decent tq.

IMHO.

I'd swap it.... @ 130k and then going FI it'd be silly not to.

I have the SOS Sport in mine, it's great!

I ran my s2000 drag racing with nitrous when it was my daily driver. The stock clutch lasted a year and a half wih 59k miles on the stock clutch. About 15k with nitrous launches. That was 256whp.

Not really, I'm confident if the car was left stock the stock clutch would last 250K. I have no idea why all these people are replacing clutches left and right at 60K.
