The part of the axle that contacts the hub on the inside is pretty different and you'll loose abs w/the ford axles.

I'm looking into the 8.8 from the Cobra. Which axles should I go with?

Which stock ones are you referring to? The cobras? Or the s?

What can I do to retain the abs?

The guy I bought mine from has a nother Cobra differential for 400 dollars stock axles are another 300 then about 400 to have it geared that is including the gears then 100 dollars to break out your stock hubs and then you just I need the brackets for the differential my buddy and I are building a kit I am not 100 percent sure on the price yet but it will be very reasonable more than likely around 1600 dollars to have a full kit

Well, can you get back to me on this? What are the gears on the cobra originally? I am wanting to use it with an ls swap, so I would like the 373's most likely, but retain the s2k abs.

The cobra is 355 stock also to keep your ABS you will have to contact driveshaft shop I think they have a set of axles for 1000 they are the 2.9 I hope to have everything done in 3 weeks also I am running a T 56 transmission behind my motor
