what about twisting the pipe with the BOV 180 degrees so the BOV sits by the strut tower? Looks like there is enough room.

I think the mushroom type with a scoop spoon style directing cold air is the best solution... I will probably be doing that my self next week when I will be changing the hot side of my piping...

OR, Instead of puting a 135 degree silicone coupler, you can cut it to a 90 degree and a bit short to actually fit it in there, and then direct cold air as well again with a spoon style scoop!

For the coolant bottle, either weld the bracket onto the crossmember or remove the cruise control box and weld it to the strut

i dont want to spend that money on the snorkel scoop, as i alreay have the carbing one, that has a little scoop already, i guess i'll do the mushroom filter.
i should be running the car soon, i'll post up how much pressure drop it gets.

this is similar, I actually have a cooling plate with a similar type of opening to carbing and I have cut a hole on my front bumper (similar to J's style) to introduce cold air in there so it actually acts as a scoop! You might want to try something similar, this will give plenty of fresh air to the intake of the supercharger...

I am really interested to see how much boost you will be using using this setup!

keep up the good work!

3.5 psi of boost with the intercooler, 5.5 w/o.... 2 psi pressure loss
