3.5 psi of boost with the intercooler, 5.5 w/o 2 psi pressure loss
that's what happens. i went through that too.

supposedly the more boost you run, the less you lose. it's a proportional thing, but to be totally honest i didnt leave my FMIC on for long enough to try it out.

i was well aware of the boost loss before i went with the intercooler setup, it was something i was okay with.
I dont beleive i will loose less with more boost, just the loss will stay consistent at 2psi, until of course i max out the intercooler efficiency.

2 psi of boost loss is actually very good! UR kit loss is about 4psi! although I think that with the setup you are running and smaller pulley you will see something closer to 3 psi of lost boost... 3.8 pulley will net you 9psi with the standard comptech aftercooler, I would imagine that you will see probably about 6 to 7psi, but closer to 6...

i dont think the lower IAT's will offset the loss of 2 or 3 psi! seems very crazy to me to spin the blower faster to make the same boost in the end. why not just run an aftercooler or meth injection?

aftercooler, was out of my price range, and meth injection has too many components that (MAY) fail.
IMHO lower IAT's will offset the pressure loss, maybe not necesarily in power, but for reducing the chance of knock or predetonation from the high heat.
If the paxton 1000 is good for 12-14 psi, 9psi should not be creating that much more heat, i realize that this is putting a CAP on my power levels, but if i want more then i will go with a twin-scroll turbo setup.
