For $3900 mine ran perfect without tuning. The "one size fits all" base tune concept idea will always equate to a conservative tune, regardless of controller unit or supplier. There are just too many variables. Seems more reasonable to conclude that any FI should be tuned, and that the tuning cost is a relatively small amount for what you get.

Even a SC should be checked on the dyno / preferably tuned which is the same boat as the greddy unit. There are a good amount of SC owners with scored cylinder walls due to the crappy FPR "tune" not working the way it was intended.
