Default Another Greddy Upgrade

Hi Everyone, thought I would fill you guys in with the upgrade I did to the Greddy Kit.

All runs were done on the same dyno, quite a low reading mainline dynolog.

Stock NA I got 180hp. With the greddy kit at 14psi on E85 and AEM EMS I did a 307hp. Just got the car back with the garret 3076wg with front compressor housing off a GT28 and did a 347hp at 14psi. Thats a delta of 167hp from stock, love it.

The car feels absolutely unreal! It spools about 800-1000rpms later but when it gets going its incredible. Almost feels like the powerband of a NA s2k. With the greddy turbo it felt like it spool instantly and fell on its face in the higher rpms. This turbo just keeps on pulling. No doubt there is a lot left in this turbo. The great news is I used the greddy manifold, dp, actuator, oil return etc I only had to change the intake pipe as the compressor housing was 3" and I didnt want to use the greddy one which was 2.75".

Anyway just thought I would let everyone know and Ill try and post the dyno as soon as I figure out how to post it on here, Im crap at computers.

Cheers

Mark

Im in Australia, but you guys can get a bigger front housing as you dont have the RHD steering rack. Revenge has a 3076 turbo that fits so maybe PM him. Also seen a turbo that looks like it would fit on atpturbo.com maybe this one

or this one

I might up the boost maybe 1 or 2 psi down the track but I want to stay on stock HG. I feel that this is the perfect setup thus far for me but then again I always have the option of HG plus upping boost down the track.

Goodwork Mark

Im going to need to run the same spec as you due to the rack. Was your configuration of the shelf or did you spec it to suit?

Nice, those are good numbers for that dyno. So you feel the turbo is has some HP left in it?

I dropped my car off this week to do a tune up and the AEM meth kit and I am going to up the boost. I will be using a comparable low reading dyno as well.

So far it appears by upgrading the turbo you can easily yield close to 50hp or more over the greddy turbo.

I wish I could get 450RWHP with just a Tubular manifold on the Greddy kit (and a GT3076r with .82 housing) but I dont think the E-manage/intercooler/charge piping and injectors that came with the Greddy Kit could support it, man that would make life easier

hmmmmm maybe Ill send an email to Toan, see what he thinks,
