Decided to go Turbo and need help
Hey guys i want to turbo my car with inline pro. I am looking for a somewhat conversative set-up that can be driven daily if need to(reliable). I am looking for about 400whp. A couple questions i have is should i consider having inline pro do the install? What is the best way to guard against a boost spike? I don't want to blow my engine. I have a post in another thread started with what I think I will need to get as far as parts. Soul Coughing and Billman has provided me with a good start I am wondering if anyone has anymore input. I want to do it right the first time. Thanks for your help.

If your not mechanically inclined (and believe in yourself) yes just have them perform the install.
If your going to use an AEM EMS, use the engine load limiter so it will turn the rev limiter on if it goes over XXpsi.

thanks how reliable is your turbo set up i am reading all these stories and i am getting a lil nervous i am willing to have it done right the first time but because of my lack of knowledge on turbos i am getting worried
Sofar I have only had 2 issues, a minor coolant leak that just involved me retighten up the hose clamp and the turbo oil feed line loosened allowing a couple drops of oil to hit the manifold. In my stupidity to fix it I stripped the nipple so its my fault the car is down and out for the count till the new nipple comes in.
*knock on wood* I have had no serious issues that actually made my car physically unuseable. If you want reliability, you can't beat the cast iron inlinepro turbo kit...Cast iron doesn't crack
If you have inline pro install your turbo kit, a couple of things to look for:
1) if you go with a GT3076R which it sounds like you should for wanting 400whp, make sure they DO NOT clock the turbo to make it so that they wedge a piece of heat wrap btwn your coupler and turbo manifold, make them weld an elbow onto the compressor housing to get it right the first time. I can't tell you how many headaches I've had over burnt couplers b/c their heat wrap flew out when the engine torqued.
2)Make sure your coolant lines aren't hitting any obstacles when they come off of the center cartridge if you go with the water cooling option for your turbo (which I suggest you do).
3)Make it a point to ask Inline Pro: did you tighten the bolts on the turbine housing that connect it to the center cartridge down at all?
4) Make sure you monitor your fluids regularly and get a laptop to log your car's vital signs, or you can do like Spec Ops 2087 and get 10000 guages and fill your whole car with them to awe your passengers
Any setup from Inline Pro will be very reliable as long as you check the little things and keep in touch with them if you have them install it with any issues that may arise. I had my kit on for over 4k miles before the first sign of any mechanical issues arose (aside from that ****ing stupid ass coupler melting issue)

I just wanted to kno if it is possible to have a relativity high hp (350-370whp) clutch installed and driven around for a bit before install my turbo??
I would suggest the ACT street clutch kit (No clutch buzz here)
Pressing in the clutch is a little stiffer but you will get use to it
