Yeah, they got me in the 60' but that's it, you can see in the MPH that the Z is a faster car once traction is obtained. Really it’s a drivers race, for me anyway, all he has to do is floor it and the car will do the rest.

I can’t wait until it is broken in so I can flog it a bit, the car is a machine. Really it is unlike any other car I have driven. It has the traction of an STI, the acceleration of a Z06, the transmission from a Ferrari or Porsche, Room of a Mustang and Confidence building handling of a M-series.

Really the only down sides for me are the looks both interior and exterior, lack of exotic exhaust note, lack of torque and reduced fun factor of not having a 6 Speed RWD.

I would defiantly buy a 2012 or newer baring it was under warranty.

 

Man I should've been an engineer. On a side note I got my hoses ran on my S and the new battery installed so now all I need is a street tune so I can sell it.

 

Back from the dead.

First off the GTR was SLOWWWWWW, the Z06 destroyed it on the highway, he would never race from a dig but I image I would have come around him at about 110ish based on what I have seen in other races.



Now for the rest, the Z is an amazing car, in just about all respects it is superior to the S2000. At the track the car was relentless, the brakes power grip......absolutely amazing!!! Surprisingly enough though i still missed my S2000, the fun factor of it is nearly impossible to beat. So, I sold the car late last year for $2500 more than I paid and had planned on buying a 2008 or newer car.



I ended up looking at GTR's again, Porsche Turbo, Vipers...... but just could not find what I wanted. Finally I settled in on a White Z06 which I was going to build to look much like the Z06X, however before buying another I decided $60K was too much to tie up while I still have a mortgage. I still plan to get another Z but it will probably have to wait a few more years.



I love my Honda sent me a link for a S2000 in town which I did not think much of but I decided to at least go see the car. It only took me a few minutes and I made him a cash offer and drove the car home. It is a NFR 2001 with 39K miles that was owned by an old lady for many years before selling to an older guy. Both had no idea about the car and used it to tool around in on the weekends. The car was always garage kept and is pristine, even the plastic window is clear!!!!

Anyway, I have some big plans and have already order my new FI setup which I will be debuting later this year. While on sabbatical from owning an S2000 I was able to work with many other members locally and remotely and have some plans. Don't want to give it away yet but this I am calling this my KISS build, I will start posting details when I get some time.
