Default Difference between 05 and 06+ Comptech supercharger kits?

I'm looking start slowly piecing together parts for a supercharger build, and would like to stick to used parts to keep costs down. As most kits for sale here are for 04-05, I'm looking to find concrete answers for what the differences between the 05 and 06+ kits are. I'm shooting for ~380whp, most likely with the Novi 1000 due to the cost of used kits. I'm just having a hard time finding concrete answers for ALL the kit differences between years.

I'm pretty familiar with the differences between the s2k model years, and know that I will need to figure out something with the IAT sensor (I was planning on locating it post-aftercooler for a more accurate measurement; I can probably figure out a way to deal with it being on the pressurized size of the piping, unless someone has a good reason why I shouldn't do that). I also know that the injectors are different and already have a set of ID725s, as well as an Omnipower 4 bar map sensor/Flashpro.

Are there any other major differences that I need to worry about? (If someone had a set of the 06+ install instructions that would be really helpful, as I already have the 04-05 instructions.) Also, due to the returnless fuel system, do I need to replace the fuel pump for my power goals? I've read conflicting opinions about that as well... As I know some of you have a lot of experience with this, any help would be appreciated.

I just wanted to confirm that there are no differences because of the airpump or IACV or anything like that also.. I take it that there is not then?

A Novi can hit 380whp. Im pretty sure there is no differences because of the air pump etc.. the 06+ kits came with flashpro and injectors. I think 00-05 kits don't. They utilize the Comptech ESM and FPR instead.
Why don't you contact CT engineering. They could easily answer these questions. Im pretty sure the install instructions can be found on their Web site as well

After reading a post from S.O.S., they mention that upgrading the fuel pump doesn't really do much on the returnless fuel system. Was there a reason that you upgraded the pump?

3.2" pulley and only hit 300whp??
You HAD to have been slipping and not hitting anywhere near full boost.

To change from a 04-05 S-2000 kit to a 2006+ kit you will need the following;

- Offset inlet hose
- Fuel injectors x 4 -)
- Flashpro
- Airtemp sensor retainer
- Chassis dyno tune -

There is no ECU flash from Hondata for the 2006+ S-2000 so you will need to get the car tuned on a chassis dyno.

I'm in the same boat. The above was a reply by CT-Engineering. Hope that helps. There are actually other upgrades folks in the FI section recommends such as map sensor, monitor/fail safe gauges, better water pump & heat exchanger, different spart plugs. You have to make the call yourself.

What I gather from others that went through this route some essentials as a good tuner is a must.

No I just changed it because it came with the kit when I bought it from previous owner
