Has anyone managed to find a way to do this type of gauge mounting and maintain the functionality of the volume channel mute buttons?

Has any one try imitating Porsche singe gauge in the middle of the Dash? Maybe wrapped in Alcantara with stitching over the top? Some high end like that I want for boost.

Example...

If you guys know of any gauge pod that'll fit like that on our dashboard, please let me know.

Give me some ideas on your WISH LIST fellas@!

I'm about to pick-up a spare dash and we're doing an iPad2 embedded in the dash between the vent controls and airbag. This will be mounted in a motorized pivot hinge so it can be angled forward so the iPad can be removed if need be.

Are there any solid gauge programs out for the Apple iPad 2?

I am currently running a pair of DEFI gauges in a custom suede pillar pod and have my AEM wideband gauge hidden in a custom mount near the dash gauges.

Since we are going to tear apart the whole dash I can easily integrate gauge pods anywhere on the dash I want since we're going to have the entire dash re-done in ultra-suede with yellow stitching afterwards.

Give me some ideas on gauge placement as I can mold them into the upper part of the dash over the oem gauges or create pods that pop out of the dash if need be.

My current setup:
