Do I need the stock air pump when running AEM EMS?
I'm putting in my turbo and the air pump inside the bumper area on the drivers side is kinda in the way of my charge pipe.
I was wondering if I need this at all when running the AEM EMS or if I could maybe take it out. Would I need to plug up any lines of reroute anything?
Thanks.

It is fed into a phanton 'fifth port' on the intake manifold, and from there to the head and into the exhaust manifold. It provides extra air to the cat to heat it up when the engine is cold.
There is a valve mounted on the intake manifold that opens and closes the port but with the AEM it remains closed so there is no need to remove it or cap it or whatever.
