Default Air pump

trying to remove the air pump. I have a aem ems on a stock engine. Might be a dumb question but after I remove the pump, is there anything I need to do with the left over wiring like throw a resistor in? and the hose that runs to the back of the engine to whatever that thing is? Also is there any other associated parts I can get rid of while I'm doing this? I'm doing this for all the weight saving I can get. The car is not street legal and does not need to pass emissions or anything.

if you have an aem you dont need to do anything with the wiring.

With AEM EMS, all of the secondary air injection components are redundant; therefore, all of the following can be removed:

Thanks. I forgot about your webpage on this. Do I have to cap off the air control valve behind the intake manifold?

The valve can be left uncapped, as it naturally stays shut. If you want to remove it altogether, you'll need a plate (I recommend sponsor S2KPUDDYDAD).

You do need to cap off the air pump inlet (large diameter) on the air intake's neck and vacuum port (small diameter) on the intake manifold, if you choose to remove those components.
