I feel your pain brotha, i remember when my s had some down time waiting to get tuned with the GReddy e-manage.
Hopefully you'll have it in time for Six flags.
Hope everything goes well bro.

Marcus
PS. did you get my pm about your AC?
Thanks, and yes, I got your PM about the AC. Now that I have the turbo setup off the car i'm going to see exactly what's wrong with it. Oh, where did you buy that Aluma-weld stuff? Good luck with your tuning, i'm sure you'll put down some nice #'s with your setup.

So after 87 votes it looks like roughly 68% (or 2/3) of FI owners DD their cars.

VERY interesting results...

I work at home so driving is always optional, but i do find myself driving the S 90% of the time that I go somewhere. Hi boost turbo btw.

I can't think of a single reason why a car with a "stock" Comptech or Vortech SC would not be totally suitable as a daily driver, unless it's more power than one wants in their street car. That's the only possible downside I can imagine (and I'm having a hard time imagining that).

What are the supposed downsides to mild FI in A DD?

In places w/ nice weather (ie FL) I don't see a problem w/ DDing even a highboost S if it's well maintained. Now lots of rain and/or snow is an entirely different situation.

Daily drive when I am in the country. Wife drives it for fun when I am gone.
Yes I trust her.
