Do You Need a Turbo Blanket?
By Brian Dally

Are turbo blankets strictly for keeping things from catching on fire, or can they help your engine make more power?

Turbo blanket doesn’t help u make more power but it does keep the heat down and prevent melting plastic parts in your engine bay.

I took oil my turbo blanket off after a couple of months since the thing virtually falls apart anyways

i noticed u have a bottom mount turbo so heat isn’t an issue as much
