Same problem i had when i ran my Bfg's Dr's, and regular tires up front. Hopefully ill be ok running the Toyo's R888's and regular stockies up front for now. Is this suitable?

A lot of people run regular tires in front with slicks with a lot more power than a dd s2k with no problems

You want to keep the tire construction consistent throughout, regardless of the type of tires.

IE all radial construction, all bias ply construction.

may sound goofy but i should have my rear end on by the end of this week.

with stock power with slicks in the back im not sure if i should even still take that chance of running street tires in the front
