If people do 130 on a spare tire I'm going to go out on a limb and say its ok to mismatch the tire construction from front to back.

But to answer your question, spares are only rated to like 55 or 65 although we see it all the time at the track. Some techs will say something and some will not.

Thank you for your input. i dont think i could run two front spares down the track.

The wheel they make a front skinny 16" tire i really dont see a steel wheel comeing apart

The tire is wats rated for 55-65 mph not the rim...the only company that sells 16 inch front runners m&h which is 27x4.5 16...there are other sites that i have found that have that has a smaller tire but i rather use the m&h tire

Yeah at first I didn't get what you were saying. Although I have seen some crazies use a spare tire for front runners or rear runners on a fwd car and still pass tech.
