Default drove my KW high boost kit for the first time!

this kit is unbelievable! it fish tail 'til 3rd gear..and the feeling soo smooth...sounds soo good too..

only problem i have with it right now is the oil line leaking a little bit..i guess it needs to be tighten a little bit more..but not hard to fix.. btw when its idle the car seems to turn off.. rpm drops..anyone having same problem? also at about 8k car rpm seems to hesitate to go more..what could be causing this?

More tuning is needed to fix both of your issues.

find me the dialog box in any tuning software that tightens oil lines for you.

i have seen the oil lines come loose on these before. its not bad kit quality, its just that some of them are a little hard to get to when you're tightening them up. get under there and take care of it!

you have an 07, so you're not using a youtune kit i presume. your reflash should take care of all of the tuning. if your car is bogging down at idle i recommend cleaning out your throttle body and IAC valve (if you have one?)

i'm sure there are areas to get to for cleaning but i am not a DBW guy so i can't tell you first hand.

i hv an 07 with the kw high boost kit and i have no problems with bogging. Sometimes hot starts take a second longer than normal but its not a big deal. And if after 8k its feeling like your hitting a brick wall you should change your spark plugs.

what kinda tires do you run to be fishtailing 3rd gear? Crappy tires? Not trying to be smart, just wondering cause its not like these cars are torque monsters.

I see two issues here, the ones that he is referring to. Obviously tuning doesn't fix oil lines .

I think he was referring to the idle problem as well as the 8k bog problem.
