Post Dyno pre and post turbo failure (InlinePro)

I experienced a premature failure on a GT35R (which Inline covered the cost of, as they did the labor for the re-install; somehow a small amount of 'soft material' made it's way into the bearings).

The kit was first installed and dyno'd in mid November. The re-install and re-tune took place in mid March. Conditions for the day in March were 75F and moderate humidity. Conditions back in November were much colder/dryer.

I made an extra 8 peak hp in March, but it wasn't until today that I compared the dyno runs side-by-side. Take a look at the table-top flatness of the torque curve, in the most recent dyno. Then look at the hp differences in the 5-6k rpm range. Impressive, IMHO. No other changes were made to the car in the interim, except for the InlinePro 300Z R200 rear convsersion.

I'll have more info about my recent dealings with Inline in a separate post............ but to say I am pleased is an understatement.

WOW, that second dyno plot is amazing. So clean and that torque curve, yum. But your post also scares me with all this talk of the precision turbo's going bad. My seals have already been bad from the get go and i really need to take it to inline to have it rebuilt, but i really want to hold off and do the headgasket at the same time. Anyways, i love the numbers.

^^ Question. Did you tap your oil pan or block girdle for the turbo oil return line?
