Well, I put my rearend kit in and it feels like it has more power (from 4.57 gears to 4.08). But I also have 18" custom wheels that weigh about 30 lbs a piece with the drag radials and that may be lighter than the stock rims and tires I previously had.

Even 100 miles of driving with the turbo drain going to the pan drain can cause back-up of the oil and coking in the turbo.
You should have not driven it at all. If you're experiencing turbo problems this is probably the culprit.
The best place to ensure never backing the oil up in the turbo is to put it above the pan and in the girdle.
