I'm running the same 180cc injectors as you on my 400whp set up with a 150psi pump, non progressive controller, works great. I run roughly 75% meth. Too bad you gave up on a potentially sound system after all that work. Maybe drop the boost a couple psi next time around? Or run it with a second race gas map. Good luck to you with what ever rout you take next.

How many cc of meth are you running again?

Also what kinda spark plugs and gap?
I have the 180cc injectors from CM so 720cc total.

I'm running the BKR7E plugs cant remember what they are gapped to off the top of my head.

Why did you end up stopping if your going to retune in a week?

I wasn't seeing any blips of knock until about the ~25psi mark.
I got it tuned at the shop im working at so it didn't cost me anything and the tuner had to be home to watch the kids lol.

I'm having a bit of a hickup right now on startup which im hoping isnt anything serious. If I let the car sit for about 15minutes after its hot and go to restart it has a hard time turning over and then coughs out a small puff of white smoke. Doesn't smell like antifreeze or anything bad just normal exhaust fumes. I cant tell if its somehow a bit of meth leaking in or what? My coolant level hasnt budged and my temperatures are still in check. Fluids arent mixing. Do you guys think it just needs the hot startup to be tweaked?

Interesting your running the stock heat range plug. Whats the reasoning for not running the typical one heat range colder?

Thats exactly what it sounds like to me. My friends Evo 8 had similar startup issues, but only under hot start, once it was taken to another tuner it fired up on the 3rd crank, otherwise it would crank and crank and crank.

I'd also suggest you go to 8's on the plugs.

Could the white puff of smoke be anything bad? It sounds like the battery is half dead when the car trys to turn over and takes a few extra cranks and sometimes a bit of playing with the throttle to get it to fire. Once it fires it lets out a small puff of white (looks like condensation more than white billowing smoke) and then it clears immediately.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like the cylinders are loaded up for some reason. Maybe your getting some of the same symptoms others have reported, where your injectors fire after ignition turn off. Or maybe your draining meth/water into the cylinders from your system after it sits for a bit?

I've had the injectors fire in the past but it usually makes a whomph sound when that happens and it hasn't been doing that. I also thought maybe it was meth draining in so I popped a few hoses right off the meth injectors and the hoses were dry. Then I started the car and let it idle until it got up to temperature. (I figured this way there's no chances of meth since the pump never came on) Shut it off and went to start it 15 min later and it did it. Then went to start it about an hour later and it started up fine no smoke or hard cranking
