e85 Gurus
Been running E85 for two summers now in my 2008 s2000 turbo. No major problems.
Cold starting is an issue when temps drop close to 0C or 30F, but that also means its time for me to put the car in winter storage. For summertime usage a non-issue.
Did go with a relay rewired walbro at first, but upgraded to a bosch 044 intank setup.
This was mostly to ease my mind from the rumors of failing walbros.
If you search my posts my threads should come up for reference.

so what about minor problems? lol
sounds good enough for me...
You told me the dangers of even SLIGHTLY mixing 93pump with e85 before tuning it, so i guess my last question would be:
if I have a map for 93 pump/ ms109race fuel/ and e85, I definitely can't load different maps and switch it up periodically, right?
Its basically e85 and NOTHING else from that point on?

It doesnt take a reputable tuner to understand that if you get tuned for a certain fuel to make sure that you have a 100% mix of that fuel when you run it again. This is what I do when switching from 91 to E85.
You can do a couple things. Run the car until you feel its pretty damn empty, then fill it with some E85, dont beat it, let it go empty again, refill and that should get you to your 100% mixture.
OR, pull the return line off and let it run until the car dies then fill up with a full tank of E85.
The smallest amount of gasoline affects the E85 fuel. You'll know this when you get tuned on E85 then refill and notice you are lean again. I have had this happen once before because I "thought" all the gas was out before tuning on E85.
With any other fuel there isn't an issue. You can switch from 91/93 to a race gas or vise versa and be fine. I guess you can say that E85 is touchy because it burns so fast.
