E85 random misfire when cruising?
Long story short my tuner, steve mason, went missing and im having an issue with either my tune or the car itself. It happens pretty randomly and pretty rarely when cruising maybe once every couple days but I can feel it a little bit under hard pulls pulls but its most notable when it happens when cruising at lower rpm, light throttle openings.
I am running on AEM infinity. Data logs dont show anything from what I can tell. Coils are 6 months old. Running on ngk iridiums. How often should they be changed when boosted and on E85? I have around 10k miles on them now.

I would probably change them every 10000 miles. And make sure you gap them to the same gap they were at when you got your car tuned. Orrrrr maybe gap them a little tighter...that might help with the misfire feeling. Im on ngk8 and theyre gapped down to .019 for reference.

wait thats not true. You can actually run leaner af ratio wise with e85 compared to pump. Now if you mean that the car requires more fuel on e85 to operate than pump gas and refer to that as richer then sure (even tho thats not the proper way to use that term). For example for wot, typically on pump youll see af ratios anywhere around 10.5-11afr and 11.5-12afr for e85. Of course these are just ranges and every tuner will target different values based on their know how.

E85 will allow you to run a leaner condition and pull more timing because of the increased fuel being used. The engine will inherently run cooler allowing you to push it harder and make more power.

I've never had to run a car richer at cruise with E85... Unless you have a massive injector that cannot accurately provide low PW fuel. E85 can cruise perfectly at 1 Lambda and even go a little leaner (or 14.7:1 on your gas referenced WB02).
