Default ECT display

I am looking at getting an ECT from modifry because i want to limit the use of extra gauges on my car if possible, and my ems has disabled the stock gauge display. Im wondering how many s owners have this product and how they like it? i want to make sure this product is
1. Easy enough to install for an electrical 4th grader
2. As accurate as an aftermarker coolent gauge
3 Is a quality unit that has not caused any problems or misreadings for owners . any opnions would be great. thanks.

I think its a must for all EMS users... i'm sure others will say the same....

1. bob supplies great picture instructions along with splices for the install. i soldered my wires just because i had time.

2. there is a slight delay in the response but nothing noticable.

3. even if there was issues bob will assist in troubleshooting you. his customer service is top notch. i've had to get a repalcement module from him, he sent me out a new unit immediately and even sent a return envelope so i can send the bad one back...

i dont think you can go wrong with the modules...

Actually, what EMS users need is a true water temp gauge for real piece of mind.

I have the Modifry ECT gauge fix and it seems to work decently well. I personally did not do the install, i just had it installed with my EMS when I got my whole kit installed. The installation doesn't seem too difficult though.

It's nice to have the stock ECT gauge working, but I don't rely 100% on that, I just use it to get a general idea, although it is meant to be more "accurate" than the stock cluster gauge. I actually use my EMS reading to keep precise track of my ECT.

I also recommend the Modifry ECT fix even though I never got around to ordering one. You can set up your EMS to have the CEL come on at a certain temp as well.
